GiroDisc 2 Piece Rear Floating Rotors Pair 2018-2021 STI

Description:
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the original disc however the OEM pads along with some aftermarket brake pads will need to be modified before installation to work with our assemblies. This modification is necessary to accommodate the hardware arrangement of our two-piece discs and still retain the OEM parking brake and simply requires the backing plate of the brake pad to be ground down to match the arc of the pad material. A disclaimer and instructions for this modification are included with the discs. All brake pads sold by Girodisc for this application have already been modified on our CNC equipment for a plug and play solution. The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance.  This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.
