The Pitch Stop mount prevents pitching movement of the motor and transmission during hard acceleration and deceleration. This translates to less wasted energy and more power to the wheels. Why?:
The factory pitch stop allows a significant amount of engine movement and rocking under shifting, acceleration and engine braking.  This pitching or rocking of the drive train makes for sloppy shifts and a power train that can feel sloppy and disconnected.  The most common options on the market are another OEM mount with stiffer rubber, and a fairly crude aluminum mount with rock hard poly bushings.
